1. What this covers

This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies such as local storage, pixels, and tags that we use on forwarditthinking.com, why we use them, and how you can control them.

It sits alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains everything else we do with personal information.

2. What a cookie is

A cookie is a small text file a website stores on your device. It lets the site remember things between visits, such as your consent choice, whether you are logged in, or which page you came from. We also use related technologies that work the same way: local storage, session storage, pixels, and tags. Wherever this policy says "cookies," it means all of them.

3. The categories we use

We group cookies into two categories. The first is always on. Optional analytics cookies are off until you accept them.

Strictly necessary

Required for the site to load and stay secure. They cannot be turned off.

Analytics optional

Help us see which pages work, where visitors come from, and where the site is broken. Off by default. If HubSpot or Google Analytics is configured, those scripts load only after you accept optional analytics cookies.

Google Analytics, if configuredGoogleAggregate page views, referrers, and site performance signalsUp to 12 months
HubSpot tracking, if configuredHubSpotTie inbound visits to CRM contacts and attribute form submissionsUp to 13 months

The exact list changes as we add or remove tools. We update this policy when those changes are material.

4. How we get consent

The first time you visit, a cookie banner asks whether you accept optional analytics cookies. Until you choose, only strictly necessary cookies run.

You can:

  • Accept all: optional analytics cookies start.
  • Reject non-essential: only strictly necessary cookies run.
  • Save preferences: store the analytics choice shown in the banner.

Your choice is stored for 12 months, then we ask again.

5. Changing or withdrawing consent

To change your current cookie choice, clear this site's cookies in your browser. The banner will reappear on your next visit.

Withdrawing consent does not affect data already collected. To delete what we already have, send a request under the Privacy Policy.

Most browsers also let you block or delete cookies in their settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will break parts of the site.

6. Quebec Law 25 and PIPEDA notes

Under Quebec Law 25, technology that identifies, locates, or profiles you must be off by default and turned on only with your consent. We treat optional analytics cookies that way, no matter where you live.

Some of the providers above process data outside Quebec, mostly in the United States. The Privacy Policy explains how we handle cross-border transfers and which providers are involved.

If you are in Quebec, you can ask our Privacy Officer at jb@forwarditthinking.com to confirm what data was collected through cookies and to delete it.

7. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

We monitor browser privacy signals such as Global Privacy Control as part of our consent tooling.

Older "Do Not Track" headers are inconsistent across browsers, so we do not rely on them as a primary signal.

8. Changes

We may update this policy when we add or remove tools. The "Last updated" date will change. For material changes, the cookie banner will reappear so you can review your choices.
